New Policy Information: (Effective February 20th, 2010)

ORDERING PURCHASING PARTS:

When ordering OR purchasing from a sponsor you must notify the Team by phone or email that you have made an order OR purchase.  You need to explain what the order OR purchase contains and the total price.  If you place an order and do not notify the Team, OR if you cannot pay for the order within Five days after arrival, the order will be shipped back and the restocking fee will be deducted from your check.  Parts will only be allowed to sit at the sponsor's shop for 5 business days before the sponsor will be instructed to ship them back.  If you need someone to pick up the parts for you it will be your responsibility to arrange it.  Once the purchase has been made, you need to turn in a receipt to the Team within 1 week of the purchase date.  If receipts are not turned in, there will be a $20.00 admin fee deducted from your check to cover Team & Sponsor hours spent tracking your purchase. 

This is a no-exception policy and will be strictly enforced.

SERVICE FROM SPONSORS

If you need service provided by a sponsor (tire changes, fork seals, brake flush, etc) you must notify the Team by PHONE that you need the service AND when you intend to have the service done.  This is necessary to provide our sponsors with enough time to plan on DISCOUNTED WORK THAT THEY PROVIDE US.  This is common courtesy and will be strictly enforced.  If the rider does not notify the Team and proceeds with service, the full retail service cost will be deducted from the riders check and returned to the sponsor.  Contacting the sponsor yourself will not be accepted.  We need to track this service and the dollar amounts, as well as allow our supporters time to schedule work. You must contact the TEAM.  We contact our sponsors weekly regarding any service done... So please note, it will not be overlooked.

TEAM CREDIT

Team credit will likely be put into effect by April, 2010.  You will be notified when this happens.  When in place, the policy regarding the Team Credit will be as follows:

1- The rider will create a list of parts they want AND prices for the parts

2- The rider will notify the Team that they would like to use credit and provide the order list to the Team by email or phone call

3- Once the credit has been approved, the rider may either purchase the parts and get a rebate OR may pick up a check for the order amount.

4- The rider will then return a receipt from the order within 5 days of purchase

5- This amount will be deducted from the riders check or can be paid back early.

***The $ limit of the riders credit will be at the discretion of the team, however for now we will assume there is no limit. (within reason here guys)

 ***If the rider does not perform in enough shows to cover his borrowed credit and refuses to pay back borrowed credit, standard practices under the Fair Debt Collection Laws and Fair Credit Reporting Act will be implemented.
